A photon emerges from a star; a person is born – 54.5 years later their paths meet

Light from the star: ‘Beta Cassiopeiae’ takes 54.5 years to reach the Earth. In March 2021, a photograph is made that records photons of light from Beta Cassiopeiae meeting a hand – a hand that is also 54 and a half years old. Two entities that emerged into the universe at the same moment, meet each other on a balcony in Berlin – both having travelled through space and time for exactly 54.5 years.
