Orbital no.2: Berlin

Orbital no.2: Berlin combines three concentric journeys around the city of Berlin into a single, dizzying video-mandala. The inner circle shows the view from one revolution of the revolving restaurant found at the top of Berlin’s TV Tower or ‘Fernseheturm’. The middle ring shows one complete circuit of Berlin’s ‘Ring-Bahn’ train, and the outer ring shows one full circuit of Berlin’s orbital Autobahn the ‘A10’. The work is 115min in length – the time it took to complete one circuit of the motorway, two circuits of the S-Bahn, and 4 circuits of revolving restaurant.
