‘Does The World Exist, When I’m Not There?’ was commissioned by Kunstverein Springhornhof on the occasion of the solo show ‘Zero’ and published by Laconic.
The book examines the triptych of ‘Going Nowhere’ video-works (1995: Going Nowhere no.1, 2011: Going Nowhere no.2 & 2016: Going Nowhere no.1.5). The book includes an essay by Joy Sleeman: ‘The Possibility of an Island’ which looks at the latest work ‘Going Nowhere 1.5’.
