Originally commissioned by Animate for Channel 4 television and Arts Council England, the short animated film ’13’ is a melancholy journey through a strangely dissolving and pixillated landscape.
13 was created from digital drawings made in situ whilst walking out of London along the A13 trunk road. The film presents a journey in the mind of a dog as it sniffs its way back to the suburb of London called Barking. A road movie in a parallel universe, populated by ghost lorries in the night and suffused with the pathos of dying light.
