Buster Keaton & The 2nd Law of Thermodynamics

Performative Lecture 2013

Documentation (sorry, rather low-resolution) from a performative-lecture I gave looking at the relation between entropy and slapstick. The lecture was created for an exhibition I co-curated called ‘The World Turned Upside Down – Buster Keaton, Sculpture and the Absurd’ at the Meade Gallery (Warwick Arts Centre, UK). The exhibition framed Buster Keaton as a sculptor/performance-artist and traced the many influences he had on later contemporary artists.
