Adelaide
Adelaide deals with
the fragility of both human and electronic memory. The flow of
simple line drawings dissolves in and out of their digital constituents,
hinting at an underlying narrative that never quite solidifies.
Adelaide's images hang in the limbo of cyberspace as half remembered
scenes hang in the folds of our memory.
Using a computer and mouse to draw removes any notion of an original - the imprecision and stumbling of the artist's hand paradoxically evident and yet absent, in the rigid grid of pixels. |
