Antarctica Dispatches
2004/5, CCA - Glasgow, Scotland

In an empty gallery in the CCA in Glasgow Perspex panels began to appear - their transparent surface etched with drawings that had been transmitted the previous day by email from the other end of the earth. As the exhibition progressed, the drawings accumulated untill on the last day of the show the room was filled 56 simple sketches documenting an epic journey.

Also arriving in over 3,000 personal email in-boxes around the world the drawings were a kind of live dispatch from a journey to the end of the earth.
